Discover Christchurch Morning Tour
We begin the morning tour by exploring the heart of Christchurch
viewing the historic and current landmarks which make our city unique.
Fine Gothic structures, and beautiful Avon River settings introduce
you to this English city. We visit the Canterbury Museum where morning
tea is provided, or if you wish, visit the Christchurch Arts Centre
and Botanic Gardens which are also located here. On re-boarding
the coach we will see Hagley Park, Christ's College and Cranmer
Square on our way to Mona Vale. We continue to the affluent hillside
suburb of Cashmere where we stop at the Sign of the Takahe to take
in the panoramic views. Travelling back into the city, we pass by
the old Malthouse and inner city shopping district before completing
the tour at the Visitor Centre.

Discover Christchurch Afternoon Tour
The afternoon tour begins with an introduction to Christchurch, viewing
the central city landmarks which tell the city's story from its original
settlement. Continuing around Haglely Park we visit the magnificent historic
homestead and gardens of Mona Vale. We then head towards the Port Hills
and eastern suburbs of Sumner. Stopping at Cave Rock you will enjoy the
surf beach activities and sight of this area. Afternoon tea is available
at this point. The tour continues climbing Evans Pass where majestic views
of the harbour and volcano rim will be had. Nestled in the side of the
ancient volcano crater, we explore Lyttleton township before heading through
the Port Hills tunnel. We call in at the Gondola station where those taking
this option depart, (returning on the Gondola shuttle). We now continue
on to the city where the tour ends at approximately 4.45pm
